The project promoted the acceleration of technological innovation to support the energy transition. It took up some important energy-related challenges, such as the massive use of renewables, technology development in energy efficiency, innovation for cost-effective and zero-emission heating\/cooling, development of efficient batteries and storage systems, and integration of control and management in the perspective of smart grids.<\/p>\n
